Bodhi x White Lotus
Bodhi x White Lotus has dual meaning, the initial being Bodhi. Bodhi, (Sanskrit and Pāli: “awakening,” “enlightenment”), in Buddhism, is the final Enlightenment, which puts an end to the cycle of transmigration and leads to Nirvāṇa, or spiritual release; the experience is comparable to the Satori of Zen Buddhism in Japan. In writing Bodhi was a play on how one is thankful for himself or life aka "The Body" where as the latter would explain the concept of the White Lotus. The White Lotus (simplified Chinese: 白莲教; traditional Chinese: 白蓮教; pinyin: Báiliánjiào; Wade–Giles: Pai-lien chiao; lit. 'White Lotus Religion') is a syncretic religious and political movement which forecasts the imminent advent of the "King of Light" (明王), i.e., the future Buddha Maitreya.[1] As White Lotus sects developed, they appealed to many Han Chinese who found solace in the worship of Wusheng Laomu (simplified Chinese: 无生老母; traditional Chinese: 無生老母; lit. 'Unborn Old Mother'). In his instance the secondary track indicates the King of Light is connected to a more Christian Belief as Jesus being the Light and through this he expresses that in the end everyone will find love as to him God is Love.
